Brad Lyman has defined, implemented and managed investment management systems and business processes for more than 20 years.
Prior to joining Barrington, Brad consulted with Cutter Associates for five years, providing Equity & Fixed Income clients with strategic assessments, system evaluations, and Program Direction & Implementation Planning, predominantly in the front and middle offices of Mutual Fund & UCIT Managers, Pension Managers, and other Institutional Managers. Previously, Brad served as the Chief Technology Officer of Matthews Asia Funds where he selected and implemented Portfolio Management, Order Management, Compliance, Post Trade, Performance Attribution, Investment Accounting, Sales & Marketing, and Reconciliation Systems while improving data quality and reporting. Brad also designed and implemented enterprise cost-basis and client reporting systems at Schwab, designed and implemented portfolio management and middle office solutions at Barclays Global Investors, and was a core developer of SS&C Advent’s Geneva.
Brad graduated from University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business and earned Certificates in System Design & Management, Data Management and Project Management from University of California Berkeley. Brad started his career auditing Investment Management firms with PwC in New York where he was granted a CPA license. Brad has been a speaker at NICSA and Advent User Conferences.
